The Avengers were a volatile late 1970's punk band fronted by Penelope Houston. My favorite Avenger's song is "The American In Me". Straightforward, no nonsense, bitter American punk at it's finest..."Ask not what you can do for your country, but what your country's been doing to you"...here's "The American In Me" for your enjoyment.
